    How is Finca La Barca made?

    As is usual with all top-quality olive oils, Finca La Barca is not refined, but rather extracted from fresh olives by cold pressing. The unique olive oil gets its fresh and fruity taste from the use of mild Arbequina olives. It is a single-variety gourmet oil that, in addition to the natural fruity taste, also has the typical, subtle bitter note of olives.

    No chemical additives are necessary to give the top-quality oil its popular smoky taste. The freshly pressed olive oil is smoked according to an old tradition in Extremadura. Only high-quality oak firewood is used. In a very slow process that lasts more than 15 days, the Finca La Barca olive oil gets its unique smoky aroma. The pleasant smoky flavor combined with the fruity aromas of the Arbequina olives ensure that Finca La Barca has an incomparable taste when enjoyed.

    Eine Prise Lagerfeueratmosphäre gefällig? Das geräucherte Olivenöl verleiht dem Pfannen-Steak das perfekte Flair. Nicht aufdringlich, aber auch nicht zu dezent.

    Mein Rezept: ein zartgeräuchertes Gedicht. 
    Mein Rezept mit geräuchertem Olivenöl: Eine Aubergine gut waschen, in Scheiben schneiden, von beiden Seiten die Scheiben mit dem geräucherten Olivenöl beträufeln und kurz im Backofen (auf Backpapier ausgelegt) garen. Mit Käse bestreuen, überbacken, fertig! Ein zartgeräuchertes Gedicht.
